Terms of Service
Tritanium Race Companion
Effective date: 2026-10-12 for new users. For members who joined before 2026-10-12, these terms take effect on 2026-10-26, 14 days after we told them about these terms.
These terms are an agreement between you and Tritanium Race Companion ("we", "us") for using Tritanium Race Companion ("the app"). We sell memberships through Whop. By using the app, including the demo, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including the usage statistics we keep and how to leave yourself out of them.
1. Who can use the app
- You must be at least 18 and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
- Races set their own minimum ages. Check your race's rules.
2. Your account and access
- You sign in through Whop. Your Whop account and membership control your access.
- Keep your Whop account secure. You are responsible for what happens under it.
- The app checks with Whop that your membership is active. If it ends, your access ends.
- The demo needs no account. It works for 30 days from the last time you start or continue it, with lower limits than a membership, and we may close it at any time.
3. Payments, refunds and cancellations
- We sell memberships through Whop. Whop processes all payments, refunds, cancellations and chargebacks under its own terms and policies, which apply to your purchase.
- The price, billing terms and refund policy are shown on the Whop product page. Refunds follow that product's refund settings.
- If the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or withdraw from a purchase (for example, within 14 days in the EU and UK), nothing in these terms takes it away. Ask us through Whop's support chat.
- To cancel, manage your membership in Whop.
- We never see or store your card details.
4. What the app does
- The app helps you plan and prepare for a race, from race week to the start line: checklists, packing lists, split and fuel plans, weather, course maps, a crew plan, print sheets and a post-race debrief.
- It ends at the start line. There is no live race tracking.
- Members can also report problems, share ideas and vote on the community board, and ask us to add a race to the race list.
- We may add, change or remove features over time.
5. Not medical, nutrition or coaching advice
- Nutrition targets, fluid and sodium guides, carb-loading and race-morning fueling suggestions, pacing splits and any tips in the app, including tips from coaches, are general planning information.
- They are not medical, nutritional or coaching advice, and they are not tailored to your health, your body or your fitness.
- Drinking too much or too little, or taking too much or too little sodium, can be dangerous. Race only with what you have tested in training.
- Talk to a doctor before you start training for or racing an endurance event, and before you change how you eat, drink or take sodium, especially if you have a medical condition.
- Stop and get help if you feel unwell in training or on race day. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
- Triathlon and running races are physically demanding and have real risks, including serious injury and death. You decide how you train and race, and you take part at your own risk.
6. Race rules, race information, maps and weather
- Your race's rules come first. Your race's official athlete guide, rules and announcements always take priority over anything in the app. Check times, places, cut-offs and rules there.
- Outside assistance. Many races don't allow help from anyone outside the race on the course, including your crew, and some only allow it in set places. A crew plan in the app does not mean your crew may help you. Check what your race allows, and follow its rules on outside assistance, drafting, equipment and course conduct.
- Race facts in the catalog (dates, start times, venues) are compiled from public sources. They do not come from race organizers such as IRONMAN, and they can be wrong or out of date.
- Course routes and Strava maps marked "Organizer's route" or "Traced from the official course map" are based on routes or maps the race organizer published. They are not provided or endorsed by the organizer. Route data may include OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL).
- Course routes and maps are for planning only. Do not use them for navigation. Elevation on the 3D map is exaggerated.
- Weather forecasts and past weather can be wrong. Check official forecasts and race-day updates.
- Travel distances and drive times are rough estimates.
- Don't use the app while driving, riding or racing.
7. Your content
- You own what you put in the app, such as plans, notes, checklists, GPX files and debriefs.
- You allow us to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the app for you and, in totals that don't identify you, to improve it. That includes crew pages and print sheets you choose to share.
- Only upload files and content you have the right to share. Many official course files belong to race organizers or other people.
- Anyone with your crew link or print link can see the plan it shows. Share them with care. You can turn a crew link off or reset it at any time, and a print link stops working after one hour.
Community posts and race requests
- All members can see what you post on the community board, with your forum name.
- You keep owning what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy and display your posts and race requests, to show them to members, to group them with similar posts under a title we write, and to use them to run and improve the app. The license lasts while they are on the board. It ends when you or we delete them, apart from copies that stay in backups for a short time or that the law requires us to keep.
- Our team may reply to your posts in public, as "Tritanium Race Companion team".
- A race request or a vote is not a promise that we will add a race, or build or fix anything. If you share ideas, section 11 on feedback still applies.
- You can delete your own posts and race requests at any time, even when they are hidden.
8. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Misuse the app, break it, overload it, or get around its security, limits or access checks.
- Scrape, copy or harvest the app's content or data, including the race catalog, with bots or other automated tools.
- Try to access other users' data, or crew links that were not shared with you.
- Upload files or content you have no right to share, or anything unlawful or harmful, such as malware.
- Share or resell your access to the app.
- Use the app in a way that breaks the law or Whop's rules.
Community rules
When you post, vote, report or request a race, please do not post or take part in:
- Harassment, hate, threats or sexual content.
- Spam, ads or affiliate links.
- Pretending to be someone else, including our team or a coach.
- Other people's personal information.
- Unlawful or infringing content, or malware.
- Vote manipulation, such as voting from more than one account, or coordinated or paid voting.
- Medical claims presented as advice.
Keep posts on topic: the app, races and race prep. Be kind.
Moderation
- We may hide, merge or remove posts, limit your posting, or end your access when posts or accounts break these terms. We don't have to check everything that is posted, and members are responsible for what they post.
- Some steps are automatic. A post reported by 3 members is hidden until our team reviews it. A new post that reads like an existing issue may be added to it automatically, and you can split yours back out.
- If we hide your post, or the issue it is in, we show you why when you open it. If you think we got it wrong, message us through Whop and we will look again.
- To report a post, use the Report button on it. Anyone, member or not, can also report a post by messaging us through Whop's support chat. If you don't have a Whop account, you can create a free one to send the message.
- Copyright complaints. If you believe a post copies your work without permission, message us through Whop's support chat with: your name and how to reach you, the work you own, the post that copies it, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the work or may act for its owner, and your signature (typing your full name is enough). We remove or hide posts we find infringing, and may end the access of members who infringe repeatedly. If we remove your post after such a complaint and you believe it was a mistake, tell us through Whop and we will look again.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these rules.
9. Other services
- The app relies on and links to services we do not control, including Whop, Vercel, Supabase, Strava, OpenStreetMap, MET Norway, NASA POWER, USGS, AWS, Esri, EOX and Google Maps. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. Strava's maps load only after you tap "Show Strava map".
- We are not responsible for their content or availability. If one of them stops working, parts of the app, such as maps or weather, may not work.
10. Trademarks and no affiliation
- Tritanium Race Companion is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by The IRONMAN Group or any other race organizer or series.
- IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 are registered trademarks of World Triathlon Corporation.
- Strava is a trademark of Strava, Inc.
- Other names belong to their owners. We use them only to describe races and services.
11. Our app
- We, and the people we license from, own the app, including its software, design, coaching content and our compilation of race information.
- While your membership is active, you may use the app for your own race planning. This permission is personal and you cannot transfer it.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Availability
- We work to keep the app running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, slow or have errors.
- Keep your own copy of anything important. For example, print your prep sheets before race week.
- If we ever shut the app down, we will try to give you reasonable notice and a chance to get a copy of your data.
13. Ending access
- You can stop using the app at any time and cancel your membership in Whop.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your membership ends, or if we must for legal or security reasons.
- When access ends, we handle your data as our Privacy Policy describes.
- Sections 5, 6, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19 still apply after your access ends. So does the license for community posts in section 7, for posts still on the board.
14. The app is provided "as is"
- The app is provided "as is" and "as available".
- As far as the law allows, we make no promises about the app, express or implied. That includes promises that it will be accurate, complete, always available, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose.
- You are responsible for your own training, race preparation and race-day decisions, and for following your race's rules.
15. Limits on our liability
- As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Examples include missed races, disqualification, travel costs, entry fees and lost data.
- As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, or USD 50.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
16. Your responsibility for misuse
As far as the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from content you post or from your breaking these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date.
- For material changes, we will give you at least 14 days' notice in the app or through Whop before they take effect.
- If you keep using the app after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel your membership.
18. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the US state where Tritanium Race Companion is registered, without regard to conflict of law rules.
- Before you bring a claim, please message us through Whop's support chat so we can try to sort it out.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the laws where you live that cannot be waived by contract, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
19. Other terms
- These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. Whop's terms also apply to your Whop account and your purchase.
- If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example if the business is sold.
20. Contact
